Welcome Message from the Chief
I would like to welcome you to the website of the Rochester, New Hampshire Police Department. Currently in my 25th year with the Rochester Police Department, I am truly honored to have been selected to serve as your Chief of Police. I look forward to working with and leading the great men and women of this department; as we take on the challenges facing our community today and in the future.
The members of this agency are some of the most professional, dedicated, and hardworking individuals you will find in NH law enforcement. It is my hope that visitors to our page will see that we are a professional and community oriented organization. We are here to make this City a better place every day. Our website provides good information on programs and services we offer to our community. To be successful a modern police department must have strong community relationships that build public trust. We offer a variety of specialties and programs in the Department from which our citizens reap the rewards, including Community Engagement Officer, Crime Line, Crime Maps, Crime Scene Processing, Crisis Intervention Team, Honor Guard, Motorcycle Unit, Project Good Morning, Regional Accident Reconstruction Team, Rochester United Neighborhoods, and School Resource Officers. Chief Gary Boudreau officially took over command of the Rochester Police Department from retiring Chief Paul Toussaint on 1/1/22. Chief Boudreau has been with the department for over two decades and is looking forward to the challenges and rewards that come with his new role. Click here to watch the Change of Command Ceremony |
