Investigative Services Bureau
The Rochester Police Department’s Investigative Services Bureau currently consists of nine sworn members and one civilian. The Bureau is broken up into several units, each with their own objectives and responsibilities.
The units are:
Types of crimes that are commonly handled by the Detective Bureau are homicides, robberies, serious assaults, burglaries, fraud, sexual assaults and other cases involving felonies and extensive follow-up.
