Fireworks displays are an important part of our summer celebrations and need to be done with caution so that everyone is safe. Our City Fireworks Ordinance was developed so that people can enjoy themselves while keeping everyone safe. The full ordinance can be found here but the highlights are:
You need a permit!
$5 Fee and must be obtained 15 days in advance of the display
Obtained from the City Manager's Office
Only allowed:
July 3rd, 6pm-Midnight
July 4th, 6pm-11pm
You may be required to have an inspection of the site
You must be 21 or older
Only allowed on private property with permission of the landowner
You must clean up all debris from the display and cannot allow debris to fall on your neighbor's property
